“When I listen to 2 Hour Drive sing words like “nothing but Your love can fill my life the way you do” you can tell that is what they believe. I think most people will be able to relate to these songs, I know I can relate to and am encouraged all of them. Whether it is being reminded that all the things I strive for will never truly satisfy me, only God can do that, or struggling with thing like temptation, anger or lust. Lift You Hands is a reminder that submission to God is liberating, having experienced, what I consider, redemption I know it is truly a beautiful thing. Paradise is my favorite of these songs, having heard the story behind this song make it more poignant or it may be because I have lost people I loved and it gives me reassurance of what waiting for me. Also knowing how they have put these songs together and get the sound they do makes me that much more impressed.”

“This is a very uplifting album that contains several upbeat songs with a great Christian message. I personally love the parts with driving guitars but it’s hard to pin down the album to just one genre. “Renew My Mind” is the song that sticks in my head the most probably for it’s differant arrangement and minor key. It has a great message to it that will stick with you throughout the day. “Paradise” is also a beautiful song dealing with the death of a loved one that can help anyone cope with loss. In short, listen to the previews to get a feel for the album and see if it’s your thing. For me, it’s highly recommended.”

“I really enjoyed this Cd. My favorites are 1. Paradise, 2. Lift Your Hands, and 3. Renew My Mind. You can really connect to the artists because of their “down to life” music. In their lyrics, its not about the Rock-star lifestyle or the typical song where artists sing about getting cheated on. Their music is real. I’ve used this Cd before as background music before youth group starts and got a lot of positive comments about it. ”
